Novotel Bourges

All the young staff were incredibly polite and very helpful. Speedy checkin and out. The restaurant manager was very efficient and ran it perfectly. Menu was limited but who needs lots of choices after a days journey. We all ate well. Location is perfect for a stop over as it’s just off the motorway and you can’t hear it due to triple glazing. Our teens loved the fast wifi, usb chargers and smart tv, having been deprived of these luxuries for the previous 12 days in rural France. The swimming pool was an absolute god send, not huge but everyone was respectful. Brilliant, happy holiday atmosphere and the bar and staff were a huge hit!

Lovely very well kept hotel, lovely breakfast lots of staff who were very friendly and many spoke English, if we stay near Bourges again we will definitely stay in this hotel again

We spent two nights here to and from the UK from Spain and really enjoyed our stay. I really liked the hotel's proximity to the motorway, especially after a long drive. The gym is small but a nice option to have. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We have two dogs and they were welcome in the bar as well the room which was nice.

Room was very comfortable with a desk and sofa. Shower was wonderful with a separate toilet. Shampoo and shower gel good quality. We had dinner and the dining room was almost full. The food was good. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from Bourges old town but is in an excellent location for joining the A71. Breakfast was excellent and we used the well equipped gym.

Stayed at the Novotel Bourges on our way back home to the UK. It was the perfect mid-way stopover for us as were travelling from Perpignan. Location was easy to find and super friendly staff from reception through to the restaurant. We also had our dog and there is a good size garden and outdoor dining area so he was easily accommodated. As a family of five we had to take two rooms, which meant it was an expensive stay overall (we could easily have fitted in one room as they are spacious). Beds were comfortable, food was good (although again fairly pricey as overall we spent in excess of 500 euros for the two rooms, breakfast and dinner for one night). The pool was a lovely touch and open till late so the kids could have a quick swim on arrival. Check-out was at midday which was great as we were in no rush to leave and meant there was plenty of time for a swim and shower before hitting the road again. Also plenty of games such as ping pong, pool, chess etc and a computer games room (which we didn't use).
